Indication

Titanoreine is a topical anorectal preparation used for the symptomatic relief of haemorrhoids (piles) and anal fissures. It reduces inflammation, soothes itching, and provides local anaesthesia.

Ingredients

• Titanium dioxide
• Zinc oxide
• Bismuth subgallate
• Lidocaine hydrochloride

Direction

Adults: Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area externally 2–3 times daily, especially after bowel movements, or insert a suppository rectally as directed. Wash hands before and after use.

Side effects

• Uncommon: local skin reactions
• burning or stinging at application site.
• Rare: allergic reactions to lidocaine or other components.
• Rare: systemic absorption of lidocaine in excessive use.

Precautions

• For anorectal use only.
• Do not use if hypersensitive to any component
• especially local anaesthetics.
• Do not use for more than 7–10 days without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve.
