Indication

Imidil (clotrimazole 1% cream) is an antifungal agent indicated for the topical treatment of fungal skin infections including tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and cutaneous candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area and surrounding skin 2–3 times daily. Continue treatment for at least 2 weeks after symptoms have cleared. For tinea pedis, treat for 4 weeks.

Side effects

• Mild burning
• stinging
• or itching on application.
• Skin redness or irritation (uncommon).
• Allergic contact dermatitis (rare).

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Discontinue if irritation or sensitisation occurs.
• Not for vaginal use unless specified on the label.
• Consult a physician if no improvement after 4 weeks.
