Anofen 20mg/ml

Indication

Anofen (ibuprofen oral suspension 20 mg/ml) is an NSAID indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever in children.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 20 mg/ml (400 mg per 20 ml)

Direction

Dose by weight (5–10 mg/kg per dose) every 6–8 hours as needed. Administer with or after food. Do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours. Use the measuring device provided.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal upset

• Rash (uncommon).
• Dizziness
• headache.
• Renal effects with prolonged high
• dose use.

Precautions

• Do not use in children under 6 months.
• Avoid in children with known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or NSAIDs.
• Use with caution in asthma
• bleeding disorders
• or renal impairment.
• Do not use concurrently with other NSAIDs.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
