Indication

For the relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, dental pain, muscle pain, backache, menstrual pain, sore throat) and for the reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 1000 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents over 50 kg: 1 tablet (1000 mg) every 6–8 hours as required. Maximum 3 tablets (3000 mg) per 24 hours. Minimum interval between doses: 6 hours. Not to be taken by adults weighing less than 50 kg without medical advice.

Side effects

• Rare: hypersensitivity reactions including skin rash
• urticaria
• anaphylaxis.
• Very rare: serious skin reactions (Stevens
• Johnson syndrome
• toxic epidermal necrolysis
• acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis).
• Thrombocytopenia
• neutropenia
• agranulocytosis reported rarely.
• Hepatic cytolysis at high doses or overdose.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose.
• Do not use simultaneously with other products containing paracetamol.
• Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatocellular insufficiency.
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment
• renal impairment
• Gilbert's syndrome
• hemolytic anaemia
• or chronic alcoholism.
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Serious overdose risk — seek immediate emergency help if overdose is suspected.
• Keep out of reach of children.
