Candazole 1% w/w Clotrimazole

Indication

Candazole (clotrimazole 1% w/w cream) is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent for the topical treatment of fungal skin and mucosal infections including tinea corporis, tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and cutaneous candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily. Continue treatment for 2–4 weeks even after symptoms resolve. Gently massage into the skin.

Side effects

• Mild burning
• stinging
• or itching on application.
• Local erythema (redness).
• Allergic contact dermatitis (rare).

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Discontinue if irritation or hypersensitivity develops.
• Consult a physician if no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment.
