Promethazine 0.1% (5 mg/5 mL)

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions including rhinitis, conjunctivitis, itching, erythema, and urticaria.

Ingredients

• Promethazine hydrochloride equivalent to promethazine 5 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Children 2–5 years: 5 mL three times daily; children 5–12 years: 5–10 mL two to three times daily; adults: 20 mL four to five times daily, as directed on the package.

Side effects

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Keep out of reach of children. Follow the stated maximum daily dose.
