Indication

Treatment of single or mixed intestinal worm infections, including pinworm, whipworm, roundworm, hookworm, tapeworm, and Strongyloides infections. The manufacturer also lists giardiasis in children over 2 years. Use the product according to the diagnosis and the official dose instructions.

Ingredients

• Albendazole USP 200 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Shake the bottle well before use. The official Almex product information gives 200 mg (5 mL) as a single dose for ages 12–24 months. For adults and children over 2 years, it gives 400 mg (10 mL) as a single dose for pinworm, whipworm, roundworm, and hookworm; strongyloidiasis or taeniasis use one 400 mg dose daily for 3 days; giardiasis in children over 2 years uses 400 mg daily for 5 days. Other conditions have different specialist regimens; follow the package leaflet or a clinician's instructions.

Side effects

Precautions
