Indication

Symptomatic treatment of functional intestinal disorders in adults.

Ingredients

• Beidellitic montmorillonite 3 g per sachet

Direction

Usual adult dose: an average of 3 sachets per day. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in half a glass of water or mix it with semi-liquid food such as porridge, compote, or puree. Take preferably between meals or shortly before meals. Follow the leaflet or a clinician’s instructions.

Side effects

• Skin rash
• angioedema
• itching
• and hives (urticaria) have been reported.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to beidellitic montmorillonite or any other ingredient
• or if you have a digestive
• tract narrowing disorder.
• Separate Bedelix from other medicines because it may reduce the effectiveness of other treatments
• ask a doctor or pharmacist about suitable timing.
• If you are on dialysis
• do not use for a prolonged period without consulting a doctor because the aluminium hydroxide in the product may be harder to eliminate.
• Not recommended for people with glucose
• galactose malabsorption. Contact a clinician if you have been told you are intolerant to sugars
• each sachet contains 0.749 g glucose.
• Bedelix is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
