Tobrex 0.3% (3 mg/mL)

Indication

Treatment of external eye infections and related structures caused by susceptible bacteria.

Ingredients

• Tobramycin 0.3% (3 mg/mL)

Direction

Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) every four hours for mild to moderate disease. Use only as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Hypersensitivity and localized eye toxicity
• including eyelid itching or swelling and conjunctival redness. Rare post
• marketing reactions include anaphylaxis
• Stevens
• Johnson syndrome
• and erythema multiforme.

Precautions

• For topical ophthalmic use only
• do not inject into the eye. Do not use with known hypersensitivity to any component. Stop use if sensitivity occurs. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface
• prolonged use may allow nonsusceptible organisms
• including fungi
• to overgrow.
