Doliprane Paracetamol 500 mg per tablet

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever in adults and children weighing at least 27 kg (about 8 years).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg per tablet

Direction

Take by mouth with water. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time. For 27–40 kg: 500 mg every 6 hours, maximum 2,000 mg/day. For 41–49 kg: 500 mg every 4 hours, maximum 3,000 mg/day. For adults and children weighing at least 50 kg: 500–1,000 mg with at least 4 hours between doses, maximum 3,000 mg/day. Do not use for pain beyond 5 days or fever beyond 3 days without medical advice.

Side effects

• Hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Rare serious skin reactions have been reported. Seek urgent medical advice for a severe allergic or skin reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use with another paracetamol
• containing medicine or in severe liver failure
• and do not exceed the stated dose because overdose can cause severe liver injury. Seek professional advice if under 50 kg
• dehydrated
• malnourished
• elderly
• or affected by liver or kidney disease
• chronic alcohol use
• Gilbert syndrome
• or G6PD deficiency.
