Indication

Relief of nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal or year-round allergic rhinitis and symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Take by mouth. Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 10 mg once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mg twice daily. Follow the leaflet or a healthcare professional’s advice; kidney impairment may require dose adjustment.

Side effects

• Sleepiness
• fatigue
• dizziness
• headache
• and dry mouth can occur. Seek urgent care for severe allergic symptoms.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to cetirizine
• hydroxyzine
• piperazine derivatives
• or any ingredient. Ask a clinician first if you have kidney disease
• seizures
• or difficulty urinating. Alcohol or sedating medicines may increase drowsiness
• do not drive if affected.
