Indication

Treatment of corticosteroid-responsive complicated dermatoses where there is a risk of bacterial or fungal infection caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg/g
• Neomycin sulfate 2.5 mg/g
• Nystatin 100
• 000 IU/g

Direction

For cutaneous use. Adults: apply a small amount as a thin film to the affected area 2 or 3 times daily until improvement; then apply once daily or less often. Do not continue for more than 7 days without medical supervision. In children and adolescents, use only when considered necessary by a doctor; apply a thin layer once daily and do not exceed 7 days.

Side effects

• Possible effects include hypersensitivity or contact dermatitis
• burning
• redness
• rash
• hives
• itching
• pain
• stinging
• irritation
• inflammation
• and local skin thinning. Other reported effects include stretch marks
• secondary infection
• folliculitis
• pigmentation changes
• increased hair growth
• blurred vision
• and
• rarely
• systemic corticosteroid effects.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to the active ingredients
• aminoglycoside antibiotics
• or any excipient
• or for rosacea
• tuberculosis
• acne vulgaris
• perioral dermatitis
• viral skin infections
• or skin reactions to vaccines. Do not use for dermatoses in children under 1 year. Avoid the eyes and mucous membranes
• wash hands after applying. Do not use occlusive dressings. Avoid continuous or prolonged use
• especially in children
• without medical supervision
• do not use for more than 7 days. Limit facial use to 5 days. Ask a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• with kidney impairment
• or on large areas of broken skin.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
