Flixonase 50 mcg/spray (0.05% w/w)

Indication

Corticosteroid nasal spray for the prevention and treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever), relieving blocked, runny and itchy nose and sneezing.

Ingredients

• Fluticasone propionate 50 micrograms per spray (0.05% w/w)

Direction

Shake gently before use. Adults and children over 12 years: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning; if needed, 2 sprays into each nostril twice daily (maximum 4 sprays per nostril per day). Children 4–11 years: 1 spray into each nostril once daily (maximum 2 sprays per nostril per day). Use only in the nose, as directed by your physician.

• Headache
• Unpleasant taste or smell
• Dryness or irritation of the nose and throat

Precautions

• Prescription medicine – use as directed by a doctor
• Tell your doctor if you take ritonavir or other strong CYP3A4 inhibitors
• Children's growth should be monitored during long
• term treatment
• Consult a doctor if you have eye problems such as glaucoma or cataracts
• Not recommended for children under 4 years
