Indication

Fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial infections sensitive to ciprofloxacin, as prescribed by a doctor.

Ingredients

• Ciprofloxacin (as hydrochloride) 500 mg

Direction

Take as prescribed by the doctor, with water. Complete the full course of treatment.

Side effects

• Nausea
• diarrhoea or abdominal pain
• Headache or dizziness
• Tendon pain or swelling
• skin rash or sensitivity to sunlight (stop use and see a doctor)

Precautions

• Prescription
• only medicine: use only as prescribed by a doctor.
• Do not use if allergic to ciprofloxacin or other quinolones
• stop and see a doctor at once if tendon pain
• severe diarrhoea or rash occurs.
• Not for use in pregnancy
• breastfeeding or in growing children unless prescribed by a doctor
• avoid excessive sunlight.
• Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better
• to avoid resistance.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• and stop use if irritation or an allergic reaction occurs.
