Alaxan FR 200 mg / 325 mg

Indication

For the relief of mild to moderately severe pain of musculoskeletal origin such as myalgia, arthritis, rheumatism, sprain, strain, bursitis, tendonitis, backache and stiff neck; for the relief of tension headache, dysmenorrhea, toothache, and pain after tooth extraction and minor surgical operations; and for the reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Paracetamol 325 mg

Direction

Usual adult dose: 1 capsule every 6 hours or as prescribed by a physician. Do not use for more than 10 days for pain or more than 3 days for fever unless directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• stomach bloating or abdominal pain
• Headache
• dizziness or drowsiness
• Rash or itching
• Stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding (especially with long
• term use)
• Seek medical help immediately for signs of a serious allergic reaction. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect persists.

Precautions

• Do not use if hypersensitive to paracetamol
• ibuprofen
• aspirin or other NSAIDs
• Do not use if bronchospasm
• angioedema or nasal polyps have been triggered by ibuprofen
• aspirin or other NSAIDs
• Do not use in advanced kidney or liver disease
• or with a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding
• If you drink three or more alcoholic drinks every day
• ask your doctor first
• risk of stomach bleeding and liver damage
• Do not take with any other product containing ibuprofen and/or paracetamol
• Avoid in the last three months of pregnancy
• consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
