Indication

For the control and symptomatic relief of acute non-specific diarrhoea and of chronic diarrhoea associated with inflammatory bowel disease.

Ingredients

• Loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg

Side effects

• Constipation
• Dizziness or drowsiness
• Nausea
• abdominal cramps or bloating
• Headache
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if abdominal swelling
• severe constipation or any severe reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
• To be dispensed on a physician's prescription.
• Do not use for prolonged periods
• if diarrhoea lasts more than 2 days or there is fever or blood/mucus in the stool
• stop and consult a doctor.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose can cause serious heart problems.
• Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
