Pimag Premium Antacid Suspension 600 mg / 600 mg / 160 mg per 14 ml

Indication

Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn and gastric hyperacidity. Fast relief of gastric problems.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide dried gel 600 mg
• Magnesium hydroxide 600 mg
• Simethicone 160 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 sachet (14 ml) 3 times a day. Shake before use. Take as soon as symptoms occur and repeat 30-60 minutes before or after meals and at bedtime. Do not use for more than 2 weeks unless recommended by a physician.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
• diarrhoea
• nausea or vomiting
• symptoms disappear after stopping the medicine.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if side effects persist
• and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with serious kidney failure (risk of hypermagnesaemia).
• Do not use in severely debilitated patients
• or with severe abdominal pain or possible bowel obstruction.
• Not recommended for more than 2 weeks unless recommended by a physician.
• Antacids can reduce the absorption of tetracycline
• cimetidine and other medicines
• take them 1
• 2 hours apart.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
• Not suitable for patients on a low
• phosphorus diet or for long
• term use
• because antacids lower blood phosphorus.
