Woods' Peppermint Antitussive 100 ml 7.5 mg / 12.5 mg per 5 ml

Indication

Relief of non-productive (dry) cough due to allergy. Contains an antitussive (dextromethorphan) plus an antihistamine (diphenhydramine).

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg per 5 ml
• Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) 3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) 3 times a day. Shake well before use.

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Vomiting
• Constipation
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect is troublesome or persists
• and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in pregnancy
• lactation
• glaucoma
• bronchial asthma
• respiratory failure and in patients hypersensitive to any ingredient.
• May cause drowsiness
• do not drive or operate machinery while using this medicine.
• Use with special caution in patients taking alcohol or tranquilizers
• and in patients with liver disorders.
• Not recommended for productive cough. If cough persists after three days
• consult a physician.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years except on a physician's advice.
• Do not use with MAO inhibitors (risk of CNS stimulation and severe respiratory depression).
• Keep out of the reach of children.
