Indication
Broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic for bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, such as infections of the ear, nose and throat, respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and dental infections.
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxicillin 500 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usual adult dose: 500 mg every 8 hours. Complete the full course prescribed even if you feel better.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- nausea or vomiting
- Skin rash or itching
- Oral or vaginal thrush (candidiasis)
- Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) are rare but serious
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect is troublesome or persists
- and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use if you are allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins.
- Prescription antibiotic: use only under the direction of a physician and complete the full course.
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease
- infectious mononucleosis or a history of allergy.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
