Indication
Temporary relief of mild to moderate pain not relieved by ibuprofen or paracetamol alone, such as migraine, headache, backache, period pain, dental pain, rheumatic and muscular pain, cold and flu symptoms, sore throat and fever.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg
- Ibuprofen 200 mg
- Caffeine 20 mg
Direction
Oral. Adults: 1 tablet with water up to three times a day, at least 6 hours between doses. If one tablet does not control symptoms, a maximum of 2 tablets may be taken up to three times a day (at least 6 hours apart). Elderly: no special dose adjustment. Not for use under 18 years.
Side effects
- Stomach upset
- indigestion
- nausea or abdominal pain
- Heartburn
- diarrhoea or constipation
- Nervousness
- restlessness or difficulty sleeping (caffeine)
- Headache or dizziness
- Rarely
- stomach bleeding or ulcer (black stools
- vomiting blood) – stop and seek medical help
- Rarely
- allergic reactions such as rash
- swelling or breathing difficulty – stop and consult a doctor
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to paracetamol
- ibuprofen
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- or caffeine
- Do not use with active or past stomach ulcer or bleeding
- or severe heart
- liver or kidney failure
- Do not take with other paracetamol
- or NSAID
- containing products
- do not exceed the stated dose (liver damage risk)
- Avoid alcohol
- limit coffee and other caffeine sources
- Use with caution in asthma
- high blood pressure
- heart disease or the elderly
- Not recommended during pregnancy (especially the last trimester) or breastfeeding – consult a doctor or pharmacist
- Not for children under 18 years
- consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if unsure
- Keep out of reach of children
- read the enclosed leaflet before use
