Indication
Antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic combination for the relief of pain and inflammation such as back pain, joint and muscle pain, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, sprains, toothache, headache, post-operative pain and painful inflammatory conditions with fever.
Ingredients
- Diclofenac sodium BP 50 mg
- Paracetamol BP 500 mg
Direction
Oral route. As directed by the physician; usually 1 tablet two to three times daily after meals in adults. Do not chew the tablets. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Side effects
- Stomach pain
- heartburn
- nausea
- vomiting or diarrhoea
- Headache or dizziness
- Skin rash or itching
- Rarely
- stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding (black stools
- vomiting blood)
- Rarely
- liver or kidney problems
- Allergic reactions such as swelling or difficulty breathing
- stop use and seek medical help
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to diclofenac
- paracetamol
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Do not use with active or past stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Use with caution in heart
- liver or kidney disease
- high blood pressure or asthma
- Do not take with other products containing paracetamol or NSAIDs
- avoid alcohol
- Take after food to reduce stomach upset
- do not exceed the stated dose
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
- avoid in late pregnancy
- Keep out of reach of children
