Indication
NSAID + analgesic combination for the relief of pain and inflammation, e.g. osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, back and joint pain, sprains, strains and other musculoskeletal or soft-tissue inflammation, dental pain and pain after minor surgery; also reduces fever.
Ingredients
- Aceclofenac BP 100 mg
- Paracetamol BP 650 mg
Direction
Oral route. Dosage as directed by the physician (as printed on the box). Usual adult dose: 1 tablet up to twice daily, swallowed whole with water, preferably after food. Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- indigestion or abdominal pain
- Diarrhoea
- constipation or flatulence
- Headache
- dizziness or drowsiness
- Increased liver enzymes
- Skin rash or itching
- Rarely
- stomach bleeding (black stools) or serious allergic reaction
- stop use and seek medical help
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to aceclofenac
- diclofenac
- paracetamol
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Do not use with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- or severe liver
- kidney or heart failure
- Do not take with other paracetamol
- containing or NSAID medicines
- risk of overdose and liver damage
- Avoid alcohol
- Use with caution in asthma
- high blood pressure
- heart disease
- liver or kidney disease and in the elderly
- Not for use in pregnancy (especially the last trimester) or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- keep out of the reach of children
