Indication

Antibiotic and corticosteroid combination eye/ear drops for steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions of the eye or ear where bacterial infection or a risk of infection exists, such as bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis, post-operative eye inflammation and bacterial otitis externa.

Ingredients
  • Moxifloxacin hydrochloride USP eq. to Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v
  • Dexamethasone sodium phosphate USP eq. to Dexamethasone phosphate 0.1% w/v
  • Benzalkonium chloride solution USP 0.02% w/v (preservative)
Direction

Instil 1-2 drops in the affected eye or ear 3 times a day or as directed by the physician. Before first use, tighten the cap on the nozzle so the spike pierces the vial tip, then dispense drops with gentle pressure. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface; replace the cap after every use.

  • itching or redness
  • Increased intraocular pressure or cataract with prolonged use
  • Secondary fungal or bacterial infection with prolonged use
  • Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
  • For external use only
  • To avoid contamination
  • do not touch the dropper tip to any surface
  • replace the cap after every use
  • Remove contact lenses before use
  • Use the solution within one month after opening
  • If irritation persists or increases
  • discontinue use and consult the physician
  • Do not use in viral (e.g. herpes simplex)
  • fungal or tuberculous eye infections or with a perforated eardrum unless directed by a doctor
  • Prolonged use requires medical supervision (eye pressure monitoring)
  • Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs
