Trisonin 55 mcg/dose

Indication

Corticosteroid nasal spray for the treatment of nasal symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose and itchy nose.

Ingredients

• Triamcinolone acetonide (micronized) 55 mcg per actuation (0.55 mg/g)

Direction

For nasal use only. Shake well before use. Adults and children 12 years and older: 2 sprays in each nostril once daily (220 mcg/day); once symptoms are controlled, reduce to 1 spray in each nostril once daily. Children 6-11 years: 1 spray in each nostril once daily, up to 2 sprays per nostril if needed. Read the enclosed package insert carefully before use.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to triamcinolone acetonide or any ingredient (contains benzalkonium chloride)
• Use with caution in untreated nasal infections
• tuberculosis
• or recent nasal surgery
• ulcers or injury
• Long
• term use may slow growth in children
• use the lowest effective dose
• Prolonged use may raise the risk of glaucoma or cataract
• consult a doctor if vision changes
• Avoid exposure to chickenpox or measles while using corticosteroids
• Do not spray into the eyes
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Keep out of reach of children
