Indication
Appetite stimulant and vitamin B-complex supplement: cyproheptadine (an antihistamine with appetite-stimulating effect) combined with vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 and pantothenate, used for loss of appetite, poor appetite and weight gain support, and B-vitamin deficiency.
Ingredients
- Cyproheptadine hydrochloride (anhydrous) 4 mg
- Thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 2 mg
- Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 2.2 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 1.5 mg
- Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 1 mcg
- Calcium pantothenate 5 mg
Direction
Oral route. As directed by the physician. Cyproheptadine is usually taken 1 capsule (4 mg) up to 2–3 times a day; do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor.
Side effects
- Drowsiness

- nose or throat
- Nausea
- upset stomach
- constipation or diarrhea
- Increased appetite and weight gain
- Restlessness or excitability
