Bosphagel B 12.38 g / 20 g (20%)

Indication

Antacid for the symptomatic relief of gastric hyperacidity: heartburn, burning sensation, stomach pain and discomfort, acid regurgitation, gastritis and gastro-oesophageal reflux, and as adjunct in gastric and duodenal ulcer.

Ingredients

• Aluminium phosphate gel 20% 12.38 g per 20 g sachet

Direction

Oral use. Knead the sachet before opening and take the gel as is or diluted in a little water. Adults: 1 to 2 sachets per dose, 2 to 3 times a day, preferably when pain occurs or as prescribed by a doctor; usually not more than 6 sachets per day. Read the package insert before use.

Precautions

• Do not use in severe kidney failure
• Take other medicines at least 2 hours apart
• as antacids may reduce their absorption
• Use with caution in chronic constipation
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist more than 10 days or if there is weight loss
• vomiting or blood in vomit or stools
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Keep out of reach of children
