Indication
Nasal decongestant for the relief of nasal congestion and stuffy nose due to colds, acute or allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.
Ingredients
- Xylometazoline hydrochloride 15 mg / 15 mL (0.1%)
Direction
Nasal use only (not to be taken by mouth). Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 spray into each nostril 2-3 times a day; do not use for more than 3-5 consecutive days. Use within 28 days after first opening. Read the leaflet insert before use.
Side effects
- Burning
- stinging or dryness of the nose
- Sneezing
- Headache
- Rebound congestion with prolonged use
- Rarely
- palpitations
- raised blood pressure or insomnia

Precautions
- Not to be taken by mouth
- Do not use in children under 12 years
- Do not use if allergic to xylometazoline
- in angle
- closure glaucoma
- or with tricyclic antidepressants or MAO inhibitors
- Use with caution in heart disease

- hyperthyroidism
- diabetes or enlarged prostate
- Do not use for more than 3
- 5 consecutive days
