Indication
Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever in infants and young children who cannot take oral formulations.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 150 mg (effervescent tablet for rectal use or paediatric oral solution)
Direction
Infants and children: dosed by body weight (10β15 mg/kg) every 4β6 hours. Do not exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. Dissolve in water before use if effervescent. Follow physician or pharmacist guidance.
Side effects
- Rare: skin rash or allergic reactions.
- Overdose can cause severe liver damage.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Do not give with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Consult a doctor before use in children with liver or kidney problems.
- Keep out of reach of children.
