Indication

Used for the symptomatic relief of dry, irritating, and non-productive cough. Acts as a central antitussive (cough suppressant).

Ingredients

• Pentoxyverine citrate 19.5 mg

Direction

Adults: 1–2 tablets 3–4 times daily. Children (over 6 years): As directed by a physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects

• Constipation
• dry mouth.
• Nausea.
• Rarely: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Not recommended for productive (wet) cough.
• Consult a doctor if cough persists beyond 5 days or is accompanied by fever.
• Use with caution in patients with glaucoma or urinary retention.
• Keep out of reach of children.
