Indication
Sterile, preservative-free saline solution for nasal hygiene, ocular hygiene, ear (auricular) rinsing and cleansing of wounds in adults, children and infants. The single-dose vial with safety nozzle allows easy and safe use.
Ingredients
- Sodium chloride 0.9 g per 100 ml (0.9%)
Direction
External use only. Twist off the tip of a single-dose vial and apply the saline to the nostril, eye, ear or wound as needed (e.g. a few drops or a short rinse per nostril or eye). Use each vial once and discard after use.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated
- rarely brief local stinging or discomfort.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- and stop use and seek advice if any unusual reaction occurs.
Precautions
- External use only. Do not swallow.
- Single use: do not reuse an opened vial because of the risk of rapid bacterial contamination.
