Indication

Penicillin antibiotic for bacterial infections such as ear, nose and throat infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, dental infections, and as part of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) BP 500 mg

Direction

Take by mouth as directed by the physician. Complete the full course even if you feel better.

• Rarely severe allergic reaction (swelling
• difficulty breathing) – stop and seek medical help

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins.
• Use with caution in kidney disease and glandular fever (infectious mononucleosis).
• Use only for bacterial infections as prescribed
