Indication
Angiotensin II receptor blocker used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension); also used in some patients with heart failure or kidney disease related to type 2 diabetes, as prescribed by a doctor.
Ingredients
- Candesartan cilexetil 16 mg
Direction
Take by mouth exactly as directed by the physician. Swallow whole with water.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- especially when standing up
- Tiredness
- headache
- back pain
- High blood potassium
- rarely swelling of face
- lips or throat (angioedema)
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy
- it can harm the unborn baby.
- Use with caution in kidney or liver disease
- dehydration
- and with potassium supplements or potassium
