Medixon 16 mg

Indication

Corticosteroid used for inflammatory and allergic conditions, including rheumatic disorders, collagen diseases, severe allergic states, asthma, inflammatory skin and eye diseases, and certain blood and endocrine disorders.

Ingredients

• Methylprednisolone 16 mg

Direction

Dose is individualised by the doctor; usual initial dose 4 to 48 mg per day depending on the condition. Take with food, preferably in the morning. Do not stop suddenly after prolonged use; reduce the dose gradually as directed.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in systemic fungal infections and hypersensitivity to methylprednisolone
• Avoid live vaccines during treatment
