Indication

Analgesic, antipyretic and antihistamine suppository for children, used to relieve fever and pain, including when accompanied by allergic symptoms, as advised by a doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Promethazine

Direction

Rectal use only. Insert one suppository into the rectum according to the dose and interval advised by a doctor or pharmacist and the enclosed leaflet. Do not exceed the recommended number of suppositories per day.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dry mouth or constipation
• Paradoxical excitation or restlessness in children
• Local rectal irritation
• Skin rash or allergic reactions (rare)

Precautions

• Do not use in children under 2 years (promethazine can cause serious breathing problems)
• Do not combine with other medicines containing paracetamol or with sedatives
• Overdose of paracetamol can cause serious liver damage
