Methycobal 500 mcg

Indication

Peripheral neuropathies (e.g. diabetic neuropathy, numbness, tingling and nerve pain).

Ingredients

• Mecobalamin 500 mcg

Direction

Adults: usually 1 tablet 3 times a day by mouth (1,500 mcg mecobalamin daily). The dose should be adjusted according to the age of the patient and the severity of symptoms, as directed by the doctor.

Side effects

• Occasional loss of appetite
• nausea or diarrhoea.
• Rarely rash (hypersensitivity).
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if unsure
• stop use and seek advice if a rash occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to mecobalamin or any ingredient.
• If there is no improvement after one month of use
• consult a doctor
• do not continue for months without benefit.
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding: consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
