Kinal Codeine 400 mg / 50 mg / 20 mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe pain and/or pain not relieved by peripheral analgesics alone, such as headaches, dental pain, body aches and muscle pain (myalgia).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 400 mg
• Caffeine 50 mg
• Codeine phosphate hemihydrate 20 mg

Direction

Oral use. Adults and children aged 15 years and over: 1 capsule per dose, repeated if needed after 4 to 6 hours, or 2 capsules per dose in case of severe pain. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dizziness
• nausea
• vomiting and constipation (codeine).
• Nervousness
• palpitations or difficulty sleeping (caffeine).
• Rare allergic skin reactions
• breathing depression or dependence with high doses or prolonged use.
• Overdose of paracetamol can cause serious liver damage.

• stop use and seek advice if an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Not for children under 15 years. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day or combine with other paracetamol
• or codeine
• containing medicines.
• May cause drowsiness: caution when driving or using machines
• avoid alcohol.
• Avoid in asthma or breathing problems
• severe liver disease
• pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor
• prolonged use may cause dependence.
• Keep out of reach of children.
