Posen Betamethasone 0.64 mg + Clotrimazole 10 mg + Gentamicin 1 mg per g (10 g)

Indication

Broad-spectrum dermatological agent (corticosteroid + antifungal + antibiotic) for inflammatory dermatoses complicated by fungal and/or bacterial infection, such as eczema and dermatitis with secondary infection, tinea (corporis, cruris, pedis), cutaneous candidiasis and intertrigo.

Ingredients

• Betamethasone dipropionate 0.64 mg/g
• Clotrimazole 10 mg/g
• Gentamicin sulfate 1 mg (potency)/g

Direction

Gently rub an adequate amount onto the affected and surrounding skin areas once to several times a day as needed. Read the insert paper carefully before use.

Side effects

• Local burning
• itching
• stinging or dryness
• Skin thinning (atrophy)
• stretch marks or telangiectasia with prolonged use
• Hypopigmentation
• acne
• like eruptions or perioral dermatitis
• Systemic corticosteroid effects if used on large areas or for long periods

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid eyes
• mouth and mucous membranes
• Do not use on untreated viral skin infections (e.g. herpes
• chickenpox)
• rosacea
• acne or perioral dermatitis

• the face
• skin folds and airtight dressings unless directed by a doctor
• Use in children
• pregnancy and breastfeeding only under medical advice
