Indication

Manual bag-valve-mask resuscitator (Ambu bag), pediatric size, for providing positive-pressure ventilation to patients who are not breathing or not breathing adequately during resuscitation and emergency care.

Direction

For use by trained personnel. Assemble the bag, valve and mask (and oxygen reservoir if supplied), seal the mask over the patient's nose and mouth with the airway open, and squeeze the bag to deliver breaths at the recommended rate, watching for chest rise.
