Doliprane 500 mg

Indication

Pain and fever: treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever, such as headaches, flu-like conditions, toothache, aching muscles, painful periods and painful flare-ups of osteoarthritis.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Oral use; swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Adults and children weighing 50 kg or more (about 15 years): 1 to 2 tablets per dose, at least 4 hours between doses, not more than 6 tablets a day without medical advice. Children weighing 27 to 49 kg (about 8 to 15 years): see the package leaflet.

Side effects

• Rarely skin rash
• itching or allergic reactions
• Very rarely blood disorders (low platelets or white cells)
• Liver damage in case of overdose
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Overdose = danger: too much of this medicine can destroy your liver
• Do not take any other medicines that contain paracetamol
• Use with caution in liver or kidney disease
• chronic alcohol use
• malnutrition or dehydration
• Consult a doctor if pain lasts more than 5 days or fever more than 3 days
