Daplazole 30 mg

Indication

Proton pump inhibitor for the treatment of heartburn associated with non-erosive gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and for maintaining healing of erosive oesophagitis and relief of heartburn.

Ingredients

• Dexlansoprazole 30 mg (as dual delayed
• release pellets)

Direction

One capsule daily or as directed by the physician. Swallow whole with water, with or without food; do not crush or chew. The capsule may be opened and the pellets sprinkled on a spoonful of applesauce and swallowed immediately.

Side effects

• Diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• nausea
• flatulence and vomiting.
• Headache and upper respiratory tract infection.
• Long
• term use may lower magnesium or vitamin B12 levels and increase fracture risk.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and if any unusual effect occurs.

Precautions

• To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
• Contains lactose
• not suitable for patients with lactose intolerance.
• Do not use with rilpivirine
• containing medicines
• inform the doctor of all other medicines.
• Use the lowest dose for the shortest duration appropriate.
