Sanaflu Plus 120 mg / 7.5 mg / 3.5 mg per 5 mL (60 mL)

Indication

Cold and cough remedy syrup for children. For the relief of symptoms of cold such as fever, headache, nasal congestion and sneezing accompanied by cough.

Ingredients

• Acetaminophen 120 mg/5 mL
• Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg/5 mL
• Phenylpropanolamine HCl 3.5 mg/5 mL

Direction

Oral. Shake well before use. Children 6-12 years: 10 mL 3 times daily; adults and children over 12 years: 20 mL 3-4 times daily, or as directed in the package insert or by a doctor. Do not use more than directed.

Side effects

• palpitations (fast heartbeat) — stop use if these occur

Precautions

• Do not give to patients sensitive to other sympathomimetic drugs (ephedrine
• pseudoephedrine
• phenylephrine)
• with severe high blood pressure
• or taking MAO
• inhibitor antidepressants
• Use with care in patients with high blood pressure or at risk of stroke
• overweight and elderly patients
• Do not use more than directed
• contains paracetamol — avoid other paracetamol products
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days
