Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections sensitive to amoxicillin, such as ear, nose and throat infections, bronchitis and pneumonia, urinary tract infections and dental infections, mainly in children.
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) 250 mg
Direction
Use as directed by your physician; the dose depends on body weight (usually 25–50 mg/kg/day in 2–3 divided doses for children). Stir the sachet contents into a little water before consuming. Read the package insert before use and follow the prescribed doses.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- nausea
- vomiting or skin rash.
- Rarely severe allergic reactions (swelling
- breathing difficulty) or colitis.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Do not use in case of allergy to penicillins
- caution with cephalosporin allergy.
- Contains aspartame (source of phenylalanine) and lactose
- not suitable for phenylketonuria.
- Follow the prescribed doses and complete the course. Prescription
- only medicine.
