Indication
Candid-B Cream is used for the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses complicated by fungal infection, such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, candidal intertrigo, and other corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses with accompanying fungal infection.
Ingredients
- Clotrimazole 1%
- Beclomethasone dipropionate 0.025%
Direction
Adults: Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area twice daily (morning and evening). Gently rub into the skin. Treatment should not exceed 4 weeks. Do not use on the face for more than 1 week.
Side effects
- Burning or stinging at the application site.
- Skin irritation or erythema.
- Skin thinning with prolonged use.
- Contact dermatitis.
- Hypopigmentation.
- Adrenal suppression with extensive or prolonged application.
Precautions
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Not for ophthalmic use.
- Avoid use on the face
- groin
- or underarms unless prescribed.
- Do not use on open wounds or ulcerated skin.
- Prolonged use may cause skin atrophy and adrenal suppression.
- Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice.
- Discontinue if sensitisation occurs.
- Keep out of reach of children.
