Serepase Serratiopeptidase

Indication

Serepase contains serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme used as an anti-inflammatory and anti-oedema agent to reduce swelling, pain, and secretion viscosity associated with surgical procedures, trauma, sinusitis, and ear, nose, and throat conditions.

Ingredients

Direction

Adults: Take 1 tablet (10 mg) two to three times daily between meals, or as directed by a physician. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew (enteric-coated).

Side effects

• Nausea.
• Stomach upset.
• Loss of appetite.
• Skin rash or allergic reaction (rare).

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients taking anticoagulants (may enhance bleeding risk).
• Avoid in patients with blood coagulation disorders.
• Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding without medical advice.
