Indication
Strepsils Cool lozenges are antiseptic throat lozenges used to relieve sore throat, mouth infections, and oral discomfort. They provide a cooling sensation.
Ingredients
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
- Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
Direction
Adults and children 6 years and over: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth. Repeat every 2β3 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 lozenges in 24 hours.
Side effects
- Oral irritation in sensitive individuals.
- Allergic reactions (rare).
- Temporary numbness of mouth.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 6 years.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 3β5 days.
- Not a substitute for systemic antibiotic therapy in bacterial infections.
- Keep out of reach of children.
