Strepsils cool Lozenges

Indication

Strepsils Cool lozenges are antiseptic throat lozenges used to relieve sore throat, mouth infections, and oral discomfort. They provide a cooling sensation.

Ingredients

• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg

Direction

Adults and children 6 years and over: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth. Repeat every 2–3 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 lozenges in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Oral irritation in sensitive individuals.
• Allergic reactions (rare).
• Temporary numbness of mouth.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 6 years.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 3–5 days.
• Not a substitute for systemic antibiotic therapy in bacterial infections.
• Keep out of reach of children.
