Indication
AB Lanso DR 30 is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease (duodenal and gastric), and as part of H. pylori eradication combination therapy.
Ingredients
- Lansoprazole 30 mg (delayed
- release)
Direction
Adults: Take 1 capsule (30 mg) once daily before a meal. For GERD: continue for 4–8 weeks. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Headache.
- Nausea or diarrhoea.
- Abdominal pain.
- Flatulence.
- Hypomagnesaemia with prolonged use.
Precautions
- Long
- term use may increase risk of bone fractures and vitamin B12/magnesium deficiency.
- Use with caution in severe liver disease.
- May reduce efficacy of clopidogrel
- avoid co
- administration.
- Keep out of reach of children.
