Calcium Corbiere Extra Calcium supplement

Indication

Calcium Corbiere Extra is a nutritional supplement used to prevent and treat calcium and Vitamin D deficiencies, and to support bone health. It is indicated in osteoporosis prevention, convalescing patients, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and the elderly.

Ingredients

• Calcium gluconate 1094 mg (equivalent to Calcium 100 mg)
• Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 200 IU
• Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 500 mg

Direction

Adults: 1–2 ampoules daily, diluted in water or juice, or as directed by a physician. Children: as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal discomfort: nausea
• constipation.
• Hypercalcaemia with excessive doses.
• Allergic reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Contraindicated in hypercalcaemia (excess blood calcium) or hypercalciuria.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or history of renal stones.
• May interact with tetracycline antibiotics and fluoroquinolones
• separate doses by at least 2 hours.
• Excessive Vitamin D intake can cause toxicity.
• Keep out of reach of children.
