Throatsil Vitamin C 100mg + 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg + Amylmetacresol 0.6mg

Indication

Throatsil is a throat lozenge with mild antiseptic properties used for the symptomatic relief of sore throat, throat irritation, and mouth and throat discomfort. The antiseptic components provide local antibacterial and antiviral activity in the oropharynx.

Ingredients

• Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) 100 mg
• 2
• 4
• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as required. Maximum 8 lozenges in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rarely: local mild irritation.
• Allergic reactions (very rare).

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 12 years without medical advice.
• Consult a physician if symptoms persist more than 3 days or worsen.
