STAMLO 5 Amlodipine Tablets 5mg

Indication

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and stable or vasospastic angina pectoris. May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine besylate 5mg

Direction

Adults: 5mg once daily. Dose may be increased to 10mg once daily based on clinical response. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling).
• Flushing
• headache
• dizziness.
• Palpitations.
• Nausea
• abdominal pain.
• Fatigue.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis or severe hepatic impairment.
• May cause ankle oedema.
• Do not stop medication without consulting a doctor.
• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
