Indication
Treatment of mild to moderate bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, ear and throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections.
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin trihydrate 500mg (as capsules)
Direction
Adults: 500mg three times daily. For severe infections: 500mgβ1g three times daily. Take with or without food. Complete the full course.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- nausea
- vomiting.
- Skin rash
- urticaria.
- Rare: severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to penicillin or cephalosporins.
- Inform your doctor about all medications currently being taken.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
- Complete the full prescribed course.
- Keep out of reach of children.
